Each (or at least one of us) likes to go very fast, but finding the budget to meet the speed requirement can be difficult, which is why we want you to see and run for some speed. List of cars under 5K.
If you are in the market for something cheaper, this pick definitely fits the bill. All of these can easily reach 155 miles per hour and will go even faster with some limited modifications (ignoring the limit), allowing them to meet their fast desires in a limited budget. That would be a great way to do it.
It should be noted that most of these choices are older, luxury cars that cost a little more. Fortunately, obsolescence is in your favor today. However, repair costs can still be significant, so make sure you check the vehicle thoroughly before paying your 5,000.
This list is not difficult at all. There are a lot of cheap cars that will make your heart pump, so if you like, make a list in the comments of your choice and we will take a look at them. When you slip behind the wheel of one of the fastest cars under 5k, get ready to go out on the highway and speed up.
1. 2001 AUDI B5 S4
This is a fun car that is a blast of driving and can go from zero to 60 in about 5.6 seconds. It is one of the fastest cars under 5K with a top speed of 155 mph. This version of the S4 is still very popular with fans, and thanks to its advanced age, you should be able to choose one for 5,000.
The B5S4 has a twin-turbocharged 250hp 30-valve DOHCV6 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission that powers the Quattro all-wheel drive system. If you allow the car to shift, the 5-speed Tiptonic is automatically available.
As you might expect with Audi, the interior is very luxurious but there is also a bit of history at this location. The S4 has sports seats that can accommodate the driver when craneing from the corners. Leather is standard and easily read instrument cluster ensures that you always have the information you need.
Optional devices include the Bose Premium Sound System, Audi Navigation System, Sunroof, and AutoDemming Mirrors. Depending on the mileage and trim level, you may be slightly off our 5K target.
2. 2001 Porsche Boxster
The Boxster was introduced in 1997 but you should be able to get a price of 5 kg or less in 2001 or even 2002. In the base model, the 2.7 liter horizontally opposes the DOHC’s six-cylinder, which has 217 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. That’s enough to push it up to 155 miles per hour (or if it’s fast) it ranks among our fastest cars under the 5K list.
If you can get a Boxster S, the speed goes up to 162 miles per hour and 3.2 six-cylinder 256 horsepower. The five-speed Tiptonic automatic train was available as an option on both trim levels.
You won’t help the whole family on these two seats but you will enjoy the leather trim seats that surround you in the corners. Air conditioning, heated electric mirrors, electric windows and locks and theft prevention systems are all standard equipment.
3. 2000 BMW 750iL
This is definitely one of the fastest cars under 5K if you can get it at our price. High-end luxury cars are quickly valued, which means you can pick up a very fast and luxurious car at a cheap basement price. Mileage and condition will determine if you can stay below 5K, but you can find up to 2005 and still stay below our price.
In 2001, this car gave you back about $ 92K, and for good reason. It has a 5.4-liter SOHC V-12 that can crack 326 horsepower under the hood, coupled with a five-speed automatic transmission. All of this power will propel the 750iL at speeds of up to 155 mph, while the self-tapping rear suspension and BMW’s dynamic stabilization control system will keep the wheels securely on the ground while hitting the corners hard.
Even in 2000, the 750iL was packed with luxury. Auto leveling with xenon headlights, park distance control, power leather heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and navigation system are all standard equipment.
While the 750iL won’t embrace any corner like a top-end sports car, if you’re looking for power combined with plenty of luxury, this is the car for you.
